Exhibition of 19th and 20th Century Wedding Traditions
An exhibition aimed to give an overview of 19th and 20th century wedding traditions in Harju County, focusing mainly on the time preceding the ceremony and the making of the dowry.
The exhibition displays items from the collections of Harju County Museum, Estonian Open-Air Museum, Estonian History Museum, Viimsi Museums, Rootsi-Kallavere Village Museum, Mahtra Peasant Museum and Estonian National Museum.
The exhibit was put together by Harju County Museum pedagogues Jaanika Jaanits and Liisa Põld. Designed by Kätlin Janson, director of the Amandus Adamson Studio Museum.
